About Us

 

Amanda Jackson- First found her passion for dance as young child and started at Pauline Steele’s dance studios, growing up with a strong interest in dance Amanda knew she would fulfil her dreams by qualifying as a dance teacher. As a passionate performer Amanda has performed in many top dance shows such as Shockwaves, Take 25, and Caution Hot Feet at The Regent theatre, In 2007 Amanda qualified as a teacher with the British ballet organisation which was the start of a very successful career.

Since qualifying Amanda gained her first professional job as a full time dance teacher at the newly named studios Steelworks. Amanda was an asset to the school and lead a diverse range of classes, choreographed for top shows at The Regent Theatre and managed exam entry. Alongside this Amanda produced and choreographed three of her own dance shows in local schools in Staffordshire.

In 2010 Amanda decided that she wanted to launch her own classes in partnership with Caroline Sherratt and she hasn’t looked back since. The Performance Studios are growing with over 60 students in four different venues.

Caroline Sherratt-Performing professionally from a young age Caroline has an extensive knowledge of the Performing Arts industry, has performed with professionals including Toyah Wilcox , and has worked in Supporting roles for BBC, ITV and Channel 4 programs. Since qualifying with the British Ballet Organization in 2007 Caroline has continued a successful career within performing arts in both performance and education.

 As a passionate performer Caroline has travelled the world in many production shows including Egypt and Mainland Spain. In 2009 Caroline was appointed co-ordinator of Performing Arts in Dominican Republic and managed the theatres Entertainment program. Whilst in the Dominican Republic Caroline pursued her passion for community arts by creating an exclusive arts education program. Caroline has also toured in UK Pantomimes and was cast as leading lady in the 2009 tour of ‘Cinderella’. Caroline’s most recent overseas role was tour manager and production cast singer and dancer of Mallorca’s number one top selling touring show.

Since returning to the UK in 2010 Caroline is now concentrating on dance education within the community and since her return has been working on numerous projects including her work as dance artist for South Sports Partnership, Staffordshire Police, Stoke Creative Learning, numerous Schools, colleges and universities across Staffordshire.

Recently Caroline has choreographed Fame at the Regent Theatre, has just finished working on Footloose the musical and been appointed Dance Artist in Residence at The Regent Theatre.
